This website provides general information about Anima Child and Family Therapy and the services offered by Heather Truschel, LPC, RPT-S, RSP. Reading this site does not create a therapist–client relationship and is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Analytics and tracking

We do not use website analytics, advertising trackers, social media pixels, or third-party cookies on this site. The site loads no external fonts or scripts.

Information you send us

If you contact us through the form on this site or by email, the information you send (name, email, phone, and message) is used solely to respond to your inquiry. Email and web forms are not secure channels for protected health information (PHI). Please do not include health information in messages sent through this site.

Once you become a client, we use a separate, secure system to collect and store health-related information in accordance with applicable law and our Notice of Privacy Practices, which we will provide to you at intake.

Hosting and security

This site is self-hosted on infrastructure controlled by Anima. The site is served over HTTPS. We log only the minimum technical information required to operate the site—such as request logs used for troubleshooting—and we do not share that information with third parties.

Crisis resources

This website is not for emergencies. If you or your child is in a mental-health crisis, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room. In Colorado, you can also reach Colorado Crisis Services at 1-844-493-8255 or text “TALK” to 38255.
